A new trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below has been released that highlights the game’s story as well as the many characters we’ll be able to fight as.

The trailer gives players a deeper look into the game’s cast and its world as fans will recognize many familiar faces from the Dragon Quest series. Such iconic characters like Alena from Dragon Quest IV and Yangus from Dragon Quest VIII join the fight, while newcomers Doric, the King of Arba, and Isla, Arba’s cunning scientist, will also be available to play.

Each character will utilize their unique abilities and vastly different play styles during battle. For example, Kiryl’s lance helps keep enemies at a distance while he’s attacking and Nera can use magic bubbles to blast monsters away.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is scheduled to be released on October 13 on PlayStation 4.
