Assassin's Creed Syndicate Gets a November PC Release
Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of Assassin's Creed Syndicate will release on November 19, less than a month after the console versions release worldwide.
Today Ubisoft has announced on the Ubisoft blog that the PC release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will arrive less than a month after the PS4 and Xbox One editions. Releasing worldwide on November 19, the PC release of Syndicate has been pushed back to ensure that Ubisoft is releasing the most stable, and optimized version of the game possible, day one.
“We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilizing and optimizing the PC version very early on in the project,” says Sam Kovalev, Studio Production Manager at Ubisoft Kiev. “This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year.”
Ubisoft hasn't released any details concerning the PC requirements, but the team in Kiev have advised that even though the recommend system requirements will target a 1080P 30FPS setup, there will be no locks set on framerate or resolution, meaning you could see higher FPS counts, and higher resolutions.
This is of course a fairly big deal for Assassin’s Creed, especially considering that the majority of the past titles have all been locked to 30FPS, which has been a common issue with the series since the lock was put in place.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will release on PS4 and Xbox One on October 23, with the PC release following on November 19.
