Diablo 3 patch 2.3.0 explores the Ruins of Sescheron today
The latest patch for Diablo 3 is now live and that means it's time to explore an entirely new area for one of the game's greatest rewards to date.
This is a big day for Diablo 3 players, as Blizzard has flipped the switch for the game's big 2.3.0 patch. In addition to getting a slew of updated content and new goodies, Reaper of Souls is also getting an all-new zone.
The Ruins of Sescheron house a strange mystery surrounding the fallen Barbarians. As players explore and learn more about their lore, they'll have to survive all-new enemies, as well as dangerous environmental hazards. The end of the Ruins are home to the Tomb of King Kanai and the Kanai Cube, a new artisan that opens up a variety of new crafting possibilities. This includes being able to tinker with legendary powers and removing an item's level requirement. The Ruins and the incredibly-powerful Cube can be found in Adventure Mode by traveling to Act 3 and finding it at the top of the map.
Diablo 3's Adventure Mode has also received several tweaks to streamline the crafting, bounty, Nephalem Rifts, and reward system. Those embarking on a new Diablo Season will also be able to track their personal progress, as well as divide their Season Journey into individual chapters.

I am going to try multiboxing D3 this season. With the way the new meta is shaping up with 2 dps and 2 zdps, I thought I would try this out for a while.

It took me a while to set this final layout up but man... it is leaps and bounds ahead of the other ones I was messing with. -

It sounds more daunting than it is. It basically can make legendaries out of non, reroll entire items, change set pieces into others, and store affixes from trash legendaries to make them useful finally.
Really, the socketed affixes will have waaay less customization than it seems. Just like with any talent build, you'll use three specific ones and likely never change them

Eh, it's more the other stuff. Like, once I run a bunch of bounties to extract legendary powers, I don't want to do that in the season as well. I can understand a character's skills and armor 'degrade' over time due to patches.
"So don't play in a season."
But...but...that's where y'all are going to be!

Just do normal and get powerleveled later in the season for the reward. I'm skipping this season to focus on getting my characters into the endgame - last time I did a season I had burnt out my enthusiasm by the time I finished leveling so I made no progress. I figure I don't need seasons until my characters are all doing TX comfortably and I miss the old days.

2.1.2 (Season 2) major things were Ancient Items, new treasure goblins, redone greater rifts.
2.2 (Season 3) major things were rebalanced sets/legendaries, new potions, new goblins, seasonal rewards.
2.3 (Season 4) major thing is Kanai's Cube, more rebalancing, no realm of trials, no greater rift keys, entirely revamped crafting, more items, etc...
