[Update: Bungie has fixed whatever was causing this outage. Our Destiny morning has been saved!]

Those who were hoping to get some Destiny in this morning will be unhappy to hear the game's servers are down once again.

Bungie revealed earlier this morning Destiny's servers are having issues, which unfortunately means players are unable to sign in. The studio has yet to disclose what exactly the problem is this morning, although it informs us it will update us once they learn more about the current issue.

Today's unexpected downtime comes a week after Bungie took Destiny's servers down for maintenance. While Bungie didn't go into details as to what type of maintenance it performed, it appears it may not have been enough as servers are down once again this morning.

With The Taken King releasing in just a few weeks, we're hoping Bungie can straighten issues it continually has keeping Destiny's servers up in time for its release. If not, we can be sure that there will be many unhappy customers come September.
