Konami has released a new trailer and a demo video of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain which were both created specifically for Gamescom.

The new trailer for The Phantom Pain gives us a full overview of the game, such as key aspects of its gameplay, various characters, and different scenarios players will experience.

The demo, which runs at around 30 minutes, reveals specifics of developing Snake’s Mother Base and how managing Diamond Dogs can be used to develop new equipment and abilities that can be usable in the field. The demo also introduces us to the game’s FOB system.

If you have the time, we recommend you check out the demo as there’s a ton of information in there that helps make sense of the Mother Base and FOB system. We know it's yet another lengthy video demo, but it's a darn good one.
