2GD basically gave up on it. As in doing full casting work for Dota 2 games. He seems to be on this kick about making his own competitive FPS (lol) and seems to believe the Dota 2 scene will be dying next year (again, lol).
Once Bruno left to work for Valve I think it was sorta the nail in the coffin for that studio in doing full-on Dota 2 casting work. So 2GD is back to doing a lot mroe varied work. Casting other types of games and such. The casters still under the 2GD umbrella are rented out for certain events. -

As unfortunate as that self-grave was, I don't think they could have stopped VG anyway.
I think what really lost the game was Dendi. He was pretty much a complete non-factor all game.
He goes Eul's build, which is all about early aggression, and then barely tries any takedowns with it. Then once VG had progressed enough to not be afraid of Lina one-shotting them with Eul's initation, he just went completely offline.
I'm a little disappointed in Na'Vi, and especially in Dendi. But that last fight was still very fun to watch. If only Na'Vi had been playing with that kind of confidence about 20 minutes earlier. :(
