NVIDIA offers Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain for free with GPU purchase
NVIDIA is once again offering a free game for the purchase of one of its GPUs. Find out which GPUs you'll need to purchase to secure a free copy.
NVIDIA has announced a special promotion that will give a copy of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain for free with the purchase of qualifying GeForce products.
Starting today, those who purchase a GeForce GTX 960, 970, 980, and 980 Ti-based GPUs or notebooks featuring the GeForce GTX 970M or 980M GPU will score themselves a free copy of Metal Gear Solid 5. Those who qualify need to head over to NVIDIA’s Game Like a Boss landing page where you can enter your redemption code.
NVIDIA says the promotion is available “for a limited time or while supplies last,” giving us no indication of an actual end date to this promotion. So if you’re going to take advantage of this offer, you should consider doing sooner rather than later.
This isn’t the first time NVIDIA has held such a promotion as back in May, the company announced it would be offering a free copy of both The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman: Arkham Knight. While one game turned out to be a GOTY contender, the other is having a tough time running on PC. But, hey - you can’t complain too much if you received the game for free, right?
