God of War 3 is still a pretty decent game, if our review from earlier today is any indication. But how does the new God of War 3 Remastered look visually compared to its PlayStation 3 predecessor? The Shacknews video crew recently spent some time in the lab and got to work on offering a side-by-side comparison between the two versions.

The PlayStation 3 version of the game can be seen on the left, while the newer Remastered version for PlayStation 4 is on the right. Give the video below a look and judge for yourselves whether this newer version truly improves on the original.

  Couldn't see much difference there - loved the look of the original though so don't think that would bother me too much :)

  If this game is like $5 to $10 ill pick it up, hell why not?
  Anything more than that, its a cash grab. Sorry but it is. Of course except for the legion of people that never heard of, or bought the other 1 billion copies of God of War previously.

    Ditto. Loved 3 but I never finish games twice.
