Microsoft has released a mobile version of its Halo Channel app on iOS and Android devices with a Windows Phone version launching once Windows 10 is released.

The Halo Channel app appears to offer the same experience as it does on the Xbox One and Windows 8. Halo fans will be able to stay up-to-date with the extended Halo universe through reading news posts, watching original programming, and learning about competitive gaming events.

As a special incentive to check out the Halo Channel app, Microsoft is offering a Promotional REQ Pack to be used in Halo 5 for watching a video within the app. The full contents of the pack is unknown at this time, but Microsoft notes a special emblem will be included. Those who have already watched a Halo Channel video on Xbox or PC will also be given this pack.

The pack will be delivered to players when Halo 5: Guardians launches on October 27.
