Sony Computer Entertainment has announced Bloodborne’s patch 1.05 will be released on July 13 that will focus making the online experience a much smoother one.

Patch 1.05 will clearly indicate if a password is being used when a player uses either a Beckoning Bell or Small Resonant Bell. If the level difference between the host and the guest when matched using a password is large enough, the guest’s stats will be adjusted to match the host’s. Other bug fixes and matching improvements will also be made in patch 1.05, although Sony doesn’t go into any additional specifics.

Prior to the launch of patch 1.05, Sony will be taking down Bloodborne's servers for maintenance.

Bloodborne sold over one million units worldwide this past spring and has received a number of notable updates since then that reduced its long loading screen times and fixes a number of exploits. In late May, we learned Bloodborne’s first expansion was in the works, although information surrounding it won’t be available until later this year. With the Tokyo Game Show taking place in September, we wouldn’t be surprised if Sony announces Bloodborne’s expansion during the show.
