Star Wars Battlefront PC closed alpha sign-ups now open
DICE is looking for some help to find any and all technical issues, so a closed alpha will begin soon exclusively on PC. Those interested can sign up today.
Star Wars Battlefront is definitely among the most anticipated games of the fall, but EA and DICE still need a little bit of help from the masses to help test it out. With that in mind, sign-ups for the PC version's closed alpha have now begun.
The alpha will take place exclusively on PC through EA's Origin client. No details on which particular game modes will be tested, but DICE will be looking out for technical issues. The alpha will also have some hardware requirements (via Softpedia), which include:
- Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8/8.1 64-bit OS
- Quad Core CPU - 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5-2300, 3.2 GHz AMD Phenom II x4 955, or 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
- 6GM RAM
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 680/AMD Radeon HD 7970 with 2GB or better
Applications are being taken from now until June 30. Those looking to sign up can do so right now on the Star Wars Battlefront website.
