E3 2015: Hitman Targets the Square Enix Press Conference
The new HItman game debuts at the Square Enix E3 2015 press conference, and it could be the most ambitious game yet.
Simply named Hitman, the digitally released game will players take the role of Agent 47, a master killer in his prime. The game will take place in an open online sandbox, where new jobs will appear to challenge your stealth and assassination skills. The preview involves a character named Victor Novikov, who is secretly a spy. Your job is to get to him by whatever means you can, through disguise and stealth or outright attack, and take him out. Some situations will require players to improvise.
There will be tremendous freedom of approach, allowing players to deal with a situation however they like. Mastering kills will reward players with additional equipment like weapons.
The world of Hitman will continually grow and evolve, with new jobs appearing on a global map based on player feedback. These will be deep experiences, where every NPC will have a name. Players will be taken around the world to exotic locations like Paris to eliminate targets. But some jobs will only be available for a limited amount of time. Once they're gone, they're gone for good.
Additionally, the Contracts mode from Hitman Absolution will be greatly expanded. Players can set up jobs to challenge each other to become the best assassins they can be.
The World of Asassination will open up on December 8th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
