I'd love to see Valve pull the ultimate troll.
Gabe would walk out on stage completely empty-handed.
He'd hold up his right hand and extend his index finger. One.
He'd extend his thumb. Two.
He'd extend his middle finger. Three.
He'd speak into the microphone, "See? We can count that high. Thanks for coming," and leave. -

looks like it wasn't delayed, this is the pre show.
The venue doors open to press and attendees at 5 PM PDT today, June 16. At that point we'll be switching on the PC Gamer livestream and launching a 1-hour countdown clock paired with music from Disasterpeace and some fun PC gaming trivia. The stage show itself is scheduled to start at exactly 6 PM PDT. Click here to see what time that is in your local time zone. -

awwww. the guy who was watching on the stream from his computer and talking shit about the party is still harping on it.
"asif is throwing a party for himself," he says. odd that all the shackers that got to meet asif and dance didn't say the same.
poor guy. maybe if you had something to do last night, you wouldn't have even noticed.

nah man. I could give much less than two shits. I simply don't understand why you were being a turd in stream last night and still doing it 24 hours later.
If I am missing the sarcasm or lolololols, let me know. If I missing some underlying joke by taking that at face value, my bad. But I feel like I'm not.

Why does Valve seem so apprehensive about taking a lead on something like this at E3 for PC gaming? I mean they don't have to make it all Valve - Steam, but why aren't they at least leading? Why leave it to a hardware company that forces everyone to ignore the other 50+% of the market like they don't exist and a PC magazine that nobody really reads anymore.

1-3 weren't perfect but they were fun games. Something I really wanted to see them build on. Instead we got a Fable kinect game and this shit. It blows my mind that Microsoft keeps doing this shit. They have a basic formula that people would love to give them money for. But instead they're doing a bunch of stuff no one wants or asked for.

I'm not sure why everybody complains so much about the show. I think the format is nicer than bombastic, superficial PR fests done by EA or MS. The guy was funny from time to time and he managed the guests with no big issues. Not his fault that there was no big announcements - but again, the talk show format was quite right for this type of stuff.
I'm not sure what people expect from such events, seems like everything is always wrong. I think most of those who complain don't know what they want either.-
-
Were you expecting Conan O'Brien level or something? He reacted quickly to unexpected things and was good host all around, the only thing that irritated me was how he was "super excited" for every game that was being presented, that was silly and artificial. Still better than Ubi hostess though.
I'm not saying it was all great, but reading this thread I just don't know what everybody was expecting. -
