Just went i didn't think EA could ruin Mass Effect any more, they proved me wrong. m a pretty big fan of Johnny Cash back from the days when I use to listen to his records on a reel to reel recorder. This was a terrible use of Johnny Cash and the trailer reminded me nothing I liked about Mass Effect.

Eh. I would rather see shaking cam footage over someone's shoulder. "gameplay" footage recorded in studio or even in those odd on stage playthroughs don't ever really show anything.
Honestly other than demos, probably a thousand word review is the only thing I would rely on to tell me how a game actually plays.
Everything else is hype.

That's the weird thing. They clearly existed in the universe (thermal detonators as see in ROJ), but they don't make sense to people because they only think of blasters in star wars.
For the auditory warning to work for the player though someone has to shout something. I guess they could have yelled detonator? In the EU there were concussion grenades and these appeared in the other Battlefront games.
Don't really know what else to say to the grenade audio cue.-

I loved those missions too, but my big problem is that they were really only fun against the AI.
Piloting skills are apparently much more of a steep learning curve than infantry combat. You end up with a couple really good pilots who just destroy everybody. If they are on the same team, that is the game. I don't think that is why they are avoiding it, probably more the technical problems and saving it for a DLC or something so they have more time to work on it. Who knows. It would seem like they could build on the Carrier Assault mode from BF4.

I kinda wish they would have shown off something other than Hoth in the Star Wars gameplay. I'm not complaining here, as it looked super fun, but it looked graphically on par with BF4, which is a great looking game, but boring white snow landscape and random industrial stuff does not show off detail very well, it looked about as bland as the BF4 snow maps. I was realy hoping to see Endor gameplay. I wonder what will be playable at their booth.

How the fuck did I miss the Mass Effect Trailer?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uG8V9dRqSsw
The final tune at the end just gives me chills-
I thought it was terrible and had a very clear message : liked Mass Effect rpg? Don't bother, this game isn't for you. It looks mostly to be a a trailer for a generic team arena multiplayer game. Which is probably what it is. EA wants a COD / Halo like franchise and they will keep crushing beloved ip and development teams until they get one or go out of business.
