Capcom released a trailer today that gives us a first look at the Resident Evil 0 remake that is expected in early 2016. Resident Evil 0 HD follows up on the success of Resident Evil HD, released earlier this year, and is a prequel that originally premiered on the Gamecube in 2002.

The trailer sets up the story for Resident Evil 0, which takes place a day before the mansion incident in Resident Evil. The main protagonist is S.T.A.R.S. rookie medic, Rebecca Chambers, who was an NPC in the first entry of the franchise. She is joined by Billy Cohen, a convicted ex-Marine. Players are able to switch between the two characters in game and use each of their special abilities to progress through the game.
