Sierra announced today that Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, the retro arcade shooter, is now available in the App Store for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

The iOS version will present the same action from the other games in the franchise, but will introduce one-touch controls and support for iOS gamepads. Geometry Wars 3 will feature two exclusive stages for the Apple adaptations, and the new versions will allow players to compete against Facebook friends for high scores on each level. However, the mobile versions do not include multiplayer gameplay.

The Dimensions Evolved content that was released for other platforms in March won’t be available on release, but don’t be surprised if the DLC is ported over in the future.
