PlayStation 4-exclusive Until Dawn release date announced
Players will finally be able to learn what exactly is going on in Until Dawn's log cabin in August 2015.
Until Dawn will be scaring teens out of a good time on August 25, Sony and Supermassive Games have announced today.
Today’s announcement is met with the reveal of a new cast member: Peter Stormare. Stormare is best known for his work on Arrow, Prison Break, and The Big Lebowski. A new trailer announcing Until Dawn’s release date has been published, which you can see a bit of Stormare’s voice acting and motion capture towards the end of the video.
Until Dawn went under the radar after it was announced back in 2012 as a PlayStation 3 title that would have PS Move support. The game reemerged last year, but it moved on from being a PS3 release on to the PlayStation 4. Since then, we’ve seen some gameplay videos showcasing evil clowns, interviewed associate producer Victoria Miller, and even checked the game out back in December 2014.
Sony is offering a pre-order bonus for Until Dawn in the form of a special bonus scene. The scene will include both Matt and Emily as they venture out on the mountain, but shortly after they head out, they suspect they're not alone.
