New Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Launch Trailer Shows off The Skill of a Witcher

CD Projekt Red has released a new cinematic launch trailer showcasing Geralt’s expert skill at monster hunting.

The Witcher series has always been bold, and mature. The newest trailer for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is no different. Sporting an eerie setting, Geralt approaches a young woman, who quickly shows her true colors as she begins to undress and then vanishes into a nearby barn. Geralt follows, contracted to take the beast down, and what ensues is a gory battle for life and death. I don’t want to spoil the whole thing for you, of course, but let’s just say CD Projekt Red has done a great job of capturing the essence of being a Witcher in this short cinematic experience.

I’m not personally a huge fan of cinematic trailers, and I know all of our opinions on cinematic trailers differ, but what do you think? Does this make you even more excited, or do you wish they’d have just released more gameplay? We'd be lying if we said it didn’t make us wish May 19^th was just a little closer than it is.
