Overwatch embraces 8 minutes of Zenyatta gameplay footage
With plenty of time to go before Overwatch's launch, Blizzard is showing off some of its characters in detail. Today, it's the serene support monk known as Zenyatta.
There are many characters to master in Blizzard's upcoming first-person shooter, Overwatch. Back during our hands-on at BlizzCon, one of my favorite characters was the support guru Zenyatta. With a number of support orbs at his disposal, Zenyatta was definitely the right choice when it came to helping bolster teammates.
Of course, the written word can only convey so much. Seeing is believing, so Blizzard has posted an eight-minute video clip of Zenyatta in action. This video shows Zenyatta on the defensive side, putting in work on the King's Row Capture/Payload map. Watch as he hurls orbs as quickly as he hurls proverbs.
The Overwatch beta is still set to kick off later this year. Sign-ups remain open over on Battle.net.

I kind of don't know what to think of this game.On one hand,it looks like it has very good controls and might be pretty fun to play,on the other hand it looks like generic arena shooter # 1million.
I think one of the things that Blizzard really needs to consider is at least changing the name.Overwatch just sounds way too generic to give it any attention.Something more creative would probably be better, considering that this game is sure to have a rapidly falling playerbase after people get tired of the (what looks like) super repetitive play.-

I'm sure it will be outrageously popular because Blizzard. It looks a lot like TF2, but with much more interesting characters. I don't know how I feel about that because I found TF2 to be quite underwhelming, but I generally like games where the classes have very unique abilities and characteristics.
Dirty Bomb seems similar and is pretty good (it feels like a proper, non-shitty successor to the Enemy Territory games in a lot of ways, although I preferred the more rigid class system in those games). I prefer their approach to objective oriented play, but I'm a little disappointed that the characters all fall in line pretty closely with standard FPS/Military archetypes, albeit exaggerated.
