Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition celebrates third birthday with Mojang-themed skin pack
In addition to today's special birthday skin pack, Microsoft is also making the previous two and this one available on Xbox One.
Microsoft is celebrating the third birthday of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition by offering three skin packs for free for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One players.
From today until May 17, Minecraft players can download one bundle that features veteran Mojangstas and “a few cheeky extras” in addition to its second and first birthday skin packs. Xbox 360 owners may already have the previous two birthday packs, but today marks the first time either one of them have been made available on the Xbox One.
Microsoft also shares a total of 20 million players are playing both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Minecraft.
Since Microsoft is celebrating the third birthday of the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft, we would be surprised if these special birthday skins ever make their way across platforms. Especially since last year's skin pack featured a number of iconic Microsoft-owned characters, such as Conker, Master Chief, and even a Viva Pinata.
