D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die is heading to PC with Kinect-less controls

Access Games D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die will be released on the PC. The PC version will have all of its Kinect inputs removed and will be controlled using a mouse.

The PC will soon be getting an unhealthy dose of strange as Access Games has announced D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die will be released on the platform.

D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die -Season 1- will contain the prologue, episode 1, and episode 2, all of which was previously released on the Xbox One back in September 2014. It will be optimized to be used with the PC’s mouse as all Kinect controls have been removed. The PC version will feature all of the DLC that was available on the Xbox One version, including collaboration outfits and clothing, improvements to the user interface, faster loading times, and will support 60fps.

Access Games also unveiled D4’s minimum and recommended system specs. The minimum specs require the following to play:

  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83GHz or AMD CPU or equivalent
  • 6GB of RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 or AMD Radeon HD 6870 (VRAM 1GB)
  • 10GB of hard drive space

Here’s the recommended system specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.5GHz or AMD CPU or equivalent
  • 8GB of RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7850 (VRAM 2GB)
  • 20GB of hard drive space

D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die -Season 1- has yet to have a release date or a price for the PC version. Access Games says they'll have more to reveal surrounding the game at Tokyo Indie Fest next week.
