Star Wars: X-Wing games land on Steam
The old-school classic X-Wing series is landing on Steam today, coincidentally in time for Star Wars Day (and a Star Wars Day sale).
Back in October, GOG.com released a number of classic Star Wars games, headlined by the X-Wing series. But for those don't necessarily care for games without DRM attached, the old-school X-Wing games that defined many people's youths have now hit Steam.
Former CAG'er Wario64 noted the arrival on Twitter this morning. Steam is offering up the full four-game X-Wing library, which includes X-Wing: Special Edition, TIE Fighter: Special Edition, X-Wing Alliance, and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.
The full bundle is going for $29.99 (EDIT: It has been slashed by 10 percent, as of the time of this post), but maybe don't jump on those games just yet. After all, May 4th is on the horizon and that's the time for all things Star Wars. And in fact, there are already signs pointing to a major Star Wars Day Steam sale.

people there seem to think 1995 cdrom had the good music and the improved graphics. in either case, GoG now includes all versions of the game when you buy it there so that's cool
