Mortal Kombat X characters will receive free costumes with each DLC patch
Expect your kostume kollection to get much larger with the release of each DLC patch.
Mortal Kombat X will receive a free costume with each patch that’s released for the game, NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon announced on Twitter yesterday.
The first patch for Mortal Kombat X was released this week, and with it, owners of the game will receive the Klassic Sub-zero costume, completely free of charge.
Shortly after its release, it was discovered WBIE was selling easy fatality DLC packs, which exchanges real-world currency for Easy Fatality tokens which led to a minor uproar in the Mortal Kombat community. Now that the dust has settled from offering those easy fatality DLC packs, It’s nice to see a developer offer free content to its customers post release, and for once, we welcome Mortal Kombat X to have as many patches as it needs to help continue to buff up our character costume collection.
