Paradox Interactive has announced Magicka: Wizard Wars will be moving from Steam Early Access to a full-fledged release starting on April 28.

Magicka: Wizard Wars will launch as a free-to-play PvP action game based around the iconic Magicka spell-casting system and will feature an all-new game mode, new maps, and several new features which will be added to the Early Access version on April 14. The features will be released as an update that will give early adopters a sneak peek at what others can expect at the end of the month.

To celebrate today’s news, Paradox has released an 80s-inspired montage trailer that shows off Magicka: Wizard Wars in action.
