Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 teases next CoD game with Snapchat link
Activision has started its viral marketing train for the next Call of Duty game. All aboard!
Now that we’re just a few months into 2015, Activision has apparently started to hint at the next Call of Duty game, which may be returning to the Black Ops series.
According to a YouTube video published by Drift0r, Activision has recently updated Black Ops 2 to include QR codes sprinkled throughout the game that points at the official Call of Duty Snapchat account. The account displays the following video, which features a voiceover saying “Listen only to the sound of my voice” along with some strange imagery.

Having the QR Code show up in Black Ops 2 has lead many to believe the next Call of Duty will be taking place within the series. Considering Treyarch is working on this year’s game, and that they’re the studio behind the Black Ops series, the pieces of the puzzle seem to fit nicely, although we’ll wait until Activision makes things official before we call this a new Black Ops game.
