Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition & Z team up for May 22 release
Both Puzzle & Dragons 3DS games will be available in one bundle on May 22.
NIntendo’s upcoming Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition will be getting bundled with Puzzle & Dragons Z when it’s released on May 22 for just $29.99.
Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition will transport players to the Mushroom Kingdom as they recruit a number of iconic Bowser minions, like Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and the Koopalings as well as well-known characters, like Toad and Yoshi, to fight over 80 classic enemies across a variety of worlds. Puzzle & Dragons Z, on the other hand, features an “even richer storyline” and has sold over 1.5 million units in the first six months after its launch in Japan.
Both titles features a similar drag-and-match gameplay that the Puzzle & Dragons series is known for. Players will need to drag and match colorful orbs in order to battle opponents, level up, and clear stages. If you have yet to play a Puzzle & Dragons game, Nintendo is making a demo of the Super Mario Bros. Edition available on the Nintendo eShop some time in early May.
