Firefly Studios has announced Space Colony: Steam Edition is currently in development and is expected to release in Q2 2015.

Space Colony: Steam Edition is a remaster of the original sci-fi base builder, although new missions and features will be introduced. The game will include military and civilian campaigns to complete with over 80 missions available. Space Colony will also feature Steam Workshop functionality, which will allow other players to share their custom maps within the Steam community.

The Steam Edition of Space Colony will include achievements, trading cards, and Steam Cloud support as well as high-resolution graphics that’ll allow players to view their entire colony while playing on a single screen.
