Turtle Rock Studios and 2K will be holding a special Hunt for Gold event in Evolve this weekend that will reward players with a Gold Skin for Goliath, Kraken, and Wraith.

The Hunt for Gold weekend will begin from 9PM PT on March 5th to 9PM PT on March 8th and will be the first in a series of upcoming online Evolve community challenges and events that will be taking place over the coming months. Future events won’t be as simple as logging into the game within a specific time to receive a reward as some challenges may require the Evolve community to work together to achieve specific in-game milestone.

Turtle Rock has also teased an upcoming event called the St. Patrick's Day Trapper Challenge. Now, I'm not what most people would call a "genius," but I'd have to guess that event would be taking place close to March 17 and will involve the Trapper class. Or it could be something completely different and take place on Thanksgiving while playing as Maggie, somehow.
