Battlefield Hardline Premium includes all expansions and more for $50
EA and Visceral Games wants to dig a bit deeper into your pocket by offering a premium edition of Battlefield Hardline. With all digital expansion packs, exclusive features, and game-altering masks, this could be a pretty good deal.
EA and Visceral Games have announced they’ll be releasing a premium edition of Battlefield Hardline.
Battlefield Hardline Premium includes four super features, which includes masks that offer unique gameplay benefits tied to the theme of each mask, a gun bench that offers visual customization of a player’s weapons, competitive play, and the ability to replay the entire progression system.
All four upcoming digital expansion packs are also included, which are detailed below:
- Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity - Players have to make a name for themselves in fast-paced, highly-destructible new maps littered with small-time crime jobs. Available summer 2015.
- Battlefield Hardline: Robbery - Take down the opposition head on and progress through key locations with major cinematic action. Available summer 2015.
- Battlefield Hardline: Getaway - This is frantic, high-speed chases that immerse players deeper in the heist. Available fall 2015.
- Battlefield Hardline: Betrayal - There is a rat in every operation and players will have to find out who to trust. Available winter early 2016.
Premium owners will also be given access to all expansion packs two weeks early, priority position in server queues, access to double-XP, in-game missions, and other Battlefield Hardline Premium exclusive events, new personalization options, and 12 Gold Battlepacks.
Battlefield Hardline Premium won’t come cheap as you’ll need to spend $50 to get all of these bonuses. That’s quite a hefty price, although EA is offering a ton of content in Hardline’s premium edition.

So, at least in BF4, Premium priority is a server variable you can turn on and off if you own a server. I think you are only an "official" server if you have it on, but that is not a designation that means much even for populating.
Premium priority simply means that if there is a queue, you go to the first spot in line not fille by someone with Premium. For example, you want to join a server with 3 people in queue and you have Premium (and Premium priority is turned on), if two of those people are non-Premium owners you will now be #2 in line rather than #4.
It is rather dumb and all server owners should turn it off. -
It means that if there are 10 random people in the queue, the ones with premium get on the server first. It sucks big time, and I'm a premium player. It's a great exactly of the most fucked up ways of treating a customer who has paid full price for you game. Not sure if servers admins have control over this or not - I'd almost imagine not, since EA advertises the priority without any mention of if being dependably on server settings.
Double XP doesn't really matter. You unlock guns fast enough for it to not be a problem if you like the game in the first place.

Everything says this one will tank. I know not to believe stuff on the internet (L4D2 boycott), but I just don't see enough brand loyalty to carry this one.
There seems to be some release fatigue with BF lately and people are generally bouncing off the theme. Unless it is a brilliant game I don't see it doing well. From the sound of it, this is not a brilliant game.
EA is going to take a bath on this one.
