A new story-based trailer for Bloodborne has been released today that introduces some of the characters players will meet during their adventure as well as hints at some dark secrets that are waiting to be uncovered.

In this new trailer, we once again find ourselves arriving in Yharnam where a strange doctor gives the hunter a blood transfusion, and as a result, has his memory clouded. Shortly after the transfusion, the hunter begins to have weird visions of beasts, which leads me to believe there’s something not quite right with that Yharnam blood.

I was already looking forward to checking out Bloodborne, but after seeing this trailer, I can’t help but be a little more excited as I wasn’t aware just how creepy of a story the game would have.

Bloodborne will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on March 24. If you can't wait that long for it, be sure to check out our impressions on the game.
