The Sims 4 are now able to play on a Mac near you as EA is announcing the worldwide release of the game on Apple’s platform.

As EA announced during their Outdoor Retreat reveal last month, those who already own the PC version of The Sims 4 will be able to download the game for free through Origin. This offer is available to all Sims 4 owners, regardless if it was purchased in disc form at a retailer, or if it was downloaded through Origin.

EA is also allowing those who want to transfer their progress from their PC version of The Sims 4 to the Mac version the ability to do so once it’s installed. Instructions on how to do that can be found at www.thesims.com/mac, which will take five steps to complete, just be sure to have a flash drive with you as you’ll need to do some physical work to do so.

EA also points out add-on content installed on the PC version of The Sims 4 will be transferred over to the Mac version.
