Some people celebrate Valentine's Day with extravagant dates and expensive gestures, but you'll know you truly found "the one" when you find a significant other that simply wants to stay in and play video games. With that in mind, 343 Industries has issued the latest update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and adds a couple of new playlists to the game's rotation.

The Halo Twitter account offered the heads-up on the latest update. Those that are constantly plugged in the noggin by That Guy wielding a powerful Sniper Rifle will now find an entire field of Those Guys with the new Team Snipers mode, which temporarily replaces SWAT as the featured playlist. Meanwhile, Halo 2: Anniversary Rumble has morphed into Rumble Pit, which takes the Rumble concept and offers it across all four Halo games.

Continued matchmaking improvements continue to be in the works, according to Halo Waypoint. In addition to that, look for the next update to include a new objectives-only playlist, which should appeal to the more tactical-minded among Halo players.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
