Mass Effect 4 may feature a multiplayer mode
The next Mass Effect will reportedly have a multiplayer mode, or at least some kind of online component.
The next Mass Effect game will feature some kind of online component, according to Mass Effect’s senior development director Chris Wynn.
Wynn took to Twitter yesterday looking to hire someone to help with the development of the next Mass Effect title. "Things are getting real now and I need an excellent Producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect,” he writes on his Twitter account. He then proceeds to link to an EA Careers page where BioWare is looking for an Online Producer.
Neither Wynn nor the careers page hint at what kind of online component the next Mass Effect game will have, but considering just how well received Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode was by fans of the series, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see something like that. I just hope BioWare can further expand it with more objectives, gear, and characters.

So many things, but lag and stability here in Western Europe are basically non-existent on Origin.
The characters move slower than in single player, it feels wrong.
The floaty movement and auto-aim are bad. There is no heft or weight to most attacks, ranged attacks have some of the worst audible feedback I've encountered in years.
The character banter is inane garbage and repeats itself during the same mission. Yes, I really wonder if I can go back to the life I had before. Characters talk over each other and talk over the objective announcer and during fights and in general they just talk too much.
Since there's no cover mechanic and the speed is so low most encounters devolve into static hit trading around the tank, with the occasional evasion when a ranged player draws aggro. The auto-aim mechanics mean line-of-sight breaks are the only viable defense against non-homing ranged attacks, which means a lot of slow jumping around corners.
The added crafting and a bigger emphasis on micro-transactions mean you won't get decent gear for a long time. It's too grindy and most loot just isn't great. There's also no interesting weapons to craft. You have your 4 types and that's it. No cool unique guns like in ME3 mean there's nothing really to look forward to, except more dps and more def.
I really don't like it. I played more ME3 MP than SP, but after 5 hours with DA:I MP I'm pretty much done.
