Watch Tekken 7's opening cinematic

The final battle is about to begin. And as any good final battle should, it'll take place inside a volcano.

Fighting game fans may have missed this reveal earlier this week. Bandai Namco released the opening cinematic for the upcoming Tekken 7, offering a glimpse at the beginning of what is billed to be the series' final chapter.

The opening kicks off the way every good climax should and that's with the two main characters facing off inside a volcano. Series villains Heihachi and Kazuya do battle, as we see more hints of the game's storyline start to emerge. The video ends with Kazuya undergoing a drastic change that won't be spoiled here.
