Xbox One with Kinect will drop to $449 for two weeks starting on Sunday
If you'd like your Xbox One with the Kinect peripheral, Microsoft is set to offer a limited-time price drop, starting this weekend.
Microsoft has made it easier to pick up an Xbox One, as of late. A few weeks ago, the Xbox One was dropped, once again, to its old holiday rate of $349. Today, Microsoft is announcing something of a similar drop for its Kinect packages.
Major Nelson notes that Xbox One with Kinect packages will drop to $449. The deal can be found at major retailers, like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and others.
The deal will only run from Sunday, February 8 through Saturday, February 21. Meanwhile, the Kinect-less Xbox will still run for $349 for a "limited time," though no specific end date has been offered for that promotion.

I think they may be in a bit of a bind there. Last quarter's earnings were down 11% in that segment. But as they lower prices to gain share, they also lose margin. So their profits could conceivably go down the more units they sell. Maybe if they had some killer software they might be able to keep the price up, but consumers are so price-conscious now that it just might not matter.
