The Witcher Battle Arena brings MOBAs to your iOS and Android device
CD Projekt Red is offering its first MOBA to Android and iOS owners with The Witcher Battle Arena.
We first heard about The Witcher Battle Arena back in July 2014, and we even spoke with CD Projekt Red’s Tadek Zielinkski in regards to the game, and today, the developer is announcing the launch of their mobile MOBA game on both iOS and Android devices.
Battle Arena pits two teams of three heroes as they fight against one another in an attempt to capture and hold conquest points. The game has been designed with mobile devices in mind and features elements from role-playing games as well as a fair, player-friendly monetization system that doesn’t include pay-to-win elements. All items and functionality can be unlocked entirely through gameplay.
Battle Arena will ship with two maps, the Nilfgaardian Arena and the Korath Desert, and a total of nine playable heroes taken from the Witcher universe, with more maps, heroes, and gameplay modes coming in the future. Players will earn experience points to develop their player profile, win rare and valuable pieces of equipment, and customize characters using the title’s deep upgrade system.
