Resident Evil: Revelations 2 delayed by one week
Each episode, as well as the final retail product, of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has been delayed by a week.
Capcom announced last month Resident Evil: Revelations 2 would be releasing digitally on February 17. It looks like that release date was a bit presumptuous as the publisher is releasing the first episode will be delayed by a week.
Since the first episode has been delayed, that means the follow up episodes will also be delayed by a week. The purpose of the delay is due to the game needing some last minute fine tuning of the final product. So now, the first episode will launch on PSN on February 24th and on Xbox Live and Steam on February 25. Then, each follow up episode will release one week later, on March 3, March 10, and the final episode, as well as the final retail package, releasing on March 17.
It felt like 2014 had way more broken games released than any other year, so delaying Revelations 2 by a week really isn't that big of deal, so long as it's an actual functioning video game.
