Assassin's Creed Unity gets Dead Kings DLC for free today
Ubisoft is releasing Assassin's Creed Unity's new DLC campaign, Dead Kings, today. And given its myriad of issues over the past few months, all players will receive it for free.
Far Cry 4 isn't the only Ubisoft game launching DLC today. Assassin's Creed Unity is also getting a new DLC campaign today with the launch of Dead Kings.
Normally this would be the part where there would be pricing details. Of course, it should be noted that Assassin's Creed Unity had some problems. Ok, it had a lot of problems. It had so many problems that Ubisoft actually canceled the game's Season Pass, which makes Dead Kings a free download for all players, whether they originally purchased it or not.
So for those that need a refresher on Dead Kings, this takes place after the events of the main game and sees Arno journeying towards Saint Denis. He soon finds himself exploring the catacombs beneath the Basilica, where he must uncover the secrets of the departed French kings, while also confronting a whole new enemy faction called the Raiders.
