We saw a pretty awesome Android Wear watchface a few months back that allowed fans of GoldenEye 007 to have the same watchface as Bond’s in the game. Well, if you thought that was cool, then you’re really going to enjoy this watchface that mimics Metal Gear Solid’s codec.

As you can see from the image above, I’ve installed the MGS Codec Animated watchface on my Moto 360. What you don’t see is the way the watch is animated to give a much more authentic look and feel of Metal Gear Solid’s codec. To help show off the animation on my watch, I went ahead and created a GIF of it in action, which you can see for yourself below.

What I really enjoy about the watchface is its ability to show your battery level right from the get go. Having to pull down on my watchface to find out what my battery level is can get annoying, so seeing it each time I look at my watch is very convenient.
