Ninja Theory's Hellblade headed to PC

Hellblade will no longer just be headed to the PlayStation 4 as a PC version is also in the works.

Ninja Theory’s Hellblade won’t be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 as PC Gamer has revealed the title will, in fact, be headed to PC as well.

Hellblade is currently in development by the studio that brought us Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DmC, and its PC release may also expand the title’s possibilities through the support of mods and more. “I think we want to get to the point where we can invite players and fans to add to the game, and do things that are unexpected, and suggest ideas or add-ons that can make the game richer,” Ninja Theory creative chief Tameem Antoniades told PC Gamer.

Antoniades does make a valid point in regards to fan feedback to games on PC. Considering how much easier it is to modify games on PC over traditional consoles, those who are really passionate about a particular title can improve it in a number of ways. Take the Skyrim modding community, for example. They have done some miraculous things with the game and it continues to evolve even years after its initial release.

Let’s just see if Hellblade earns a big enough following to warrant that kind of dedication from the modding community.

Their other PC games aren't that bad IIRC. DmC and Enslaved are both on PC?

besides Enslaveds low FOV (fixable) and some control remapping issues for wierdos like me who use RM to move forward and arrow keys to move (again fixable) it was a good port

Besides it's a Ninja Theory game, you don't play them for the good mechanics, you play them for the good storytelling and characters. I still think highly of Heavenly Sword for goodness sakes.
(DmC had their best mechanics, it was proper competent at that point at least)

I almost snagged DmC during the steam sale (the newer one) but passed this round

If you're not a console gamer, you should have, it's a great God of War / Bayonetta style game with an absoloute douchebag looking protagonist you want to hate and can't help but love, sassy but on point
The level in the night club is worth the purchase price alone.

Heavenly Sword was a good game. Not great, but I enjoyed my time with it (damn sixaxis controls though)

Game is worth full price for Steven Berkoffs acting as Flying Fox, seriously, he's incredible.
