Double Dragon Trilogy tackles PC on Jan. 15
Those looking for a bit of nostalgia can head on over to Steam, GOG, and Amazon to pick up the Double Dragon Trilogy starting next week.
DotEmu has announced they will be bringing the Double Dragon Trilogy to Steam, GOG, and Amazon on January 15. The title will include the original Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone.
Android, iOS, and Ouya players will be familiar with this package as it’s the same one that’s been readily available on these platforms since last year. The PC version will offer everything the mobile version of the game features, which includes an Arcade and Story mode, a total of three difficulty levels, and to play the game along to the sick beats of an optional remastered soundtrack.
The PC version does offer some differences to the mobile versions as players will be able to enjoy online and local co-op, as well as the option to use new video filters, which I’m sure can be used to give players an even more nostalgic feel.
DotEmu has yet to announce how much Double Dragon Trilogy for PC will sell for, although the mobile versions currently sell for around $3.
