Assassin's Creed Unity's Free Dead Kings DLC Digs Deeper January 13
Following problems with the release of the game, Ubisoft's promised free DLC for Assassin's Creed Unity finally has an arrival date.
We all know the hard time Ubisoft has had with their game line-up this year, especially when it comes to Assassin's Creed Unity, the newest title in their annual parkouring series. Ubisoft has now announced that the promised free Dead Kings DLC will arrive for download January 13, exactly a week from today.
Dead Kings picks up where Unity's main story left off, with Arno still struggling with the things that happened in the final moments of the game. This time he's making a move from Paris to Saint Denis, where he'll explore the catacombs of the Basilica and be forced to take on a new group of enemies, the Raiders, as players work to uncover the DLC's story.
For those who haven't kept up with the news, Ubisoft has had a hard time with Unity, and the free DLC is an attempt at making up for all the glaring issues the game experienced upon launch. You can find out more about these decisions in our previous coverage here.
