It’s inevitable that you’re going to run into a dragon or two while playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. I mean, the word “dragon” is right there in the title. Andrew “Dragon Slayer” Zucosky takes us through a walkthrough from one of his battles with the High Dragon in the Hinterlands. In the video, we learn the dragon is completely immune to all disabling effects, including slow, and is resistant to fire. Fortunately, the dragon does have weakness for ice-based attacks, so that’d be your best course of action when possible.
Andrew goes into more detail as to what you can do to not only survive your encounter with the High Dragon, but to also possibly slay it, in the video walkthrough posted above. I recommend you take heed to his warnings less you fail over and over again.

One sword and board warrior, one two hand warrior, ranged rouge, and mage. Drink stone skin potion as battle starts, as well as a heal over time potion. And just beat the shit out of it. Worked great for all 10 dragons! Both of those potions are upgraded. Usually had health potions of each kind left over at the end.
