Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare turned out to be quite the pleasant surprise for us at Shacknews. One of the reasons for that was a revamped multiplayer that offered refreshing verticality, improved movement, detailed customization, loot drops, and more of an emphasis on skill. Perhaps you find that hard to believe. Well, why not see for yourself? Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer is being offered for free this weekend, courtesy of Steam.

As part of the free weekend, Advanced Warfare is also on sale. The full game will run for $44.99 for the rest of the weekend, in case anyone has hesitated on getting their Kevin Spacey fix. Interested parties can check out the sale on Steam right now.
