Elite: Dangerous dev CEO discusses Oculus Rift, Kickstarter, and more

Elite: Dangerous is set to release next week and Shacknews recently spoke to Frontier Developments CEO David Braben about what to expect in the game, as well as working with Oculus Rift and Kickstarter.

Elite: Dangerous reached Gamma 2.00 earlier today and is ready to release next week. As would be space explorers wait on Frontier Developments' game to hit its final version, Shacknews recently had the opportunity to speak to CEO David Braben about the game.

Braben discusses the ongoing development for Elite: Dangerous, as well as the studio's work with Oculus Rift, the effect of Kickstarter as a whole, a few favorite ships to check out, and the many roles within the game. Check out the full interview below.
