Heroes of Might and Magic 3 getting HD remake in January 2015
Fans of the classic Heroes of Might and Magic 3 will be able to experience an HD version of the title in late January on their Android, iOS or Windows PC devices.
Ubisoft has announced Heroes of Might and Magic 3 HD Edition will be setting out on a brand-new adventure on January 29 on Android, iOS and Windows PC.
It’s been 15 years since Heroes of Might and Magic 3: The Restoration of Erathia was released from its original developer New World Computing, and even though they’re not handling the HD remake, the title seems to be in competent hands as DotEmu is taking the reins on this project. DotEmu, for those who may not know, is a studio that has specialized in releasing remakes of classic games, such as The 7th Guest and Out of this World.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 HD Edition will feature enhanced graphics as players will be able to partake in the original campaign, a total of 48 maps for skirmishes and local multiplayer support. The Windows PC version will come with a map editor.
A new trailer highlighting what goes into the HD-remake process of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 HD Edition has also been released, which you can check out for yourself below.
