Dragon Age: Inquisition patch 2 rolling out on all platforms but Xbox One today
A major update for Dragon Age: Inquisition is releasing today that offers a number of improvements on all platforms, except for the Xbox One.
BioWare has announced Dragon Age: Inquisition will be receiving a major update across a number of platforms that include the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 some time later today.
The update, deemed Patch 2, offers fixes for a number of audio and voice issues found throughout the game, fixes for quests, combat, UI, conversations, exploits, and bugs found in multiplayer. PC players will receive some extra love with this patch as fixes for general performance and graphical glitches will be included. A full list of patch notes will be released soon after it begins to roll out.
Xbox One owners may have noticed they’ve been left out in this update. BioWare says a patch for the Xbox One version of Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming, although they don’t have a confirmed date as to when that will begin rolling out. As someone who is playing DAI on the Xbox One, I'll be keeping a close eye as to when the update is released as I'd love to receive all of these yummy updates.

For better or for worse they do a great job of just keeping you moving, doing a quest, even if it's not main story progress. It's super easy to just get lost in what you're doing.
I've resigned myself to just main line the story with my current toon and go back for everything else after or with a new character, otherwise I'm never going to finish. -

There's a lot of filler in this game, I beat it at around 40 hours and thought that was plenty enough for me.
200 hours to do all of the side quests and collectibles but they don't tell you it's pretty much all just collecting flowers and doing etch a sketchs with stars.
Still though, the main quest line is quite good and the characters are interesting and varied. Overall I enjoyed it, there's just a lot of unfun MMO type content that you have to sift through.

http://1drv.ms/164yqc8 Download that, put it in your Origin/sounds folder, replace the file called Achievement.wav or make a back up of it and then put this in there.

My beef with this game is I hate the combat, half the time I have an enemy targeted and my rogue does its backstab 20 feet away or I move my camera and it randomly decides to target another enemy even though I was locked onto a different one. So then I switch to tactical mode and while it is a bit better I still have occasions where my guys just attack 20 feet away from the actual enemy that was targeted.

I saw this over on there forums. Posted by Bioware:
Hey Everyone,
We're working on getting a hot fix out for the PC graphics issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, here is a workaround you can try:
To start, make sure the quality setting you choose is equal to the setting set for Mesh Quality inside Options>Graphics
You will need to add a new command line parameter. To do this:
Through Origin:
Right click on the Dragon Age Inquisition title
Go to game properties
Type the command line parameter in the Command Line Properties box.
Through shortcut:
Right Click Shortcut
Go to Properties
Under target go to the end of the field and type the command line parameter into the box
Once there, add the following command line parameter: -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel <quality setting>
In this instance, <quality setting> should be one of the following:
Ultra
High
Medium
Low
An example of how to set your quality to high would be: -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel High
Please note that once the hot fix is out, you will need to go back in and remove this workaround from your command line.
It’s also important to note that pre-patch 2, all users on PC were being forced to use the Ultra shader quality. This means that those of you playing on lower settings will notice a decrease in quality, particularly players using low or medium settings.
To achieve the same visuals as pre-patch, users on lower settings will need to change their settings to Ultra, which should likewise be used in conjunction with Ultra mesh quality. Mismatching the mesh and shader settings will result in other visual artifacts like overly shiny hair.
Please be aware that changing settings to Ultra may impact performance on some machines.
Sorry about any frustration this may have caused.
