Suikoden 2 coming to PSN on Dec. 8 for $10
The second game in the Suikoden series will be released on PlayStation Network tomorrow and will retail for $9.99.
Konami Digital Entertainment announced today Suikoden 2 will be released on the PlayStation Network as part of Sony’s PS One Classic games collection starting tomorrow, December 9, 2014.
“We have heard our fans and found the perfect opportunity to bring the game to life again, as part of the PS one Classic collection,” said Tomohiro Uesugi, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “We are sure that players will enjoy this chance to replay, or play for the first time, one of our most beloved titles.”
Suikoden 2 was originally released in North America back in 1999 for the original PlayStation as it centers around an orphan named Hero along with his friend Jowy and orphan sister, Nanami. The three find themselves in the middle of a war between the Highland Kingdom and the City States.
The title is the second installment in the Suikoden series and is known for its rich plotline as well as its large cast of characters. Players will be able to partake in battles that features up to six characters within a single party that offers a dynamic style as team members or enemies can attack simultaneously.
Suikoden 2 will be available to download from the PlayStation Network starting tomorrow for $9.99.
