Team Fortress 2 gets Lara Croft items to celebrate Temple of Osiris launch
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be here next week, and as a result, Team Fortress 2 will be celebrating its launch by offering six Lara Croft-themed items. And, yes - there will be short shorts.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will released next week, and to celebrate, Valve will be adding six Tomb Raider-themed items to its ridiculously popular free-to-play team-based shooter, Team Fortress 2.
Valve held a contest looking for Tomb Raider-themed items, and out of around 100 submissions, the company chose three winners, who would receive Eidos’ complete Steam back catalog, and three runner-ups, who I assume just received a hearty handshake.
The winning items are as follows:
Jungle Booty - Lara's short shorts
Crown of the Old Kingdom - An ancient Egyptian style crown
Tomb Readers - Lara's round glasses from Tomb Raider 3
As for the runner-ups, here’s their submissions:
Bootenkhamuns - Lara's hiking boots
Orion's Belt - Lara's utility belt
Pocket Raiders - Small Tomb Raider toys that hang from the player's belt
The winning Lara Croft-inspired items will be available to those who pre-order Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris on Steam, while those who don’t pre-order will be able to buy them along with the runner-up items in the near future.
Who likes short shorts? Heavy likes short shorts.
