Need for Speed No Limits in development by Real Racing 3 developers
A new Need for Speed game has been announced for mobile devices, but before you roll your eyes, it's being developed by the studio behind Real Racing 3.
EA’s Need for Speed series is once again making the jump to mobile as the publisher has announced Need for Speed No Limits.
Need for Speed No Limits is being developed by Firemonkeys, which is the development studio behind the Real Racing series, although this isn’t their first foray into the Need for Speed series as they’ve worked on the mobile version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted back in 2012.
Information regarding the title is scarce at this point as EA simply announced Need for Speed No Limits does, in fact, exist. Although they did publish a teaser video which stars professional rally driver Ken Block, which could possibly hint at a rally-focused title. Either way, make sure to keep your mobile batteries charged to prepare for the coming of Need for Speed No Limits.

They did this before with Slightly Mad Studios (the splinter of SimBin games when they made the GT1/2 sims). I have a feeling the team is much more suited to EA's design philosophy to make money out of the game.
My bet is all microtransaction based NFS game where you have a small selection of cars, then the remaining 100 are purchase only. Probably going to follow a Forza Horizon style gameplay where you have to unlock or buy extra areas.
